The agreement, finalized on April 15, 2026, establishes a framework for collaboration between CACFO and Liberian authorities to expand mental health care delivery, strengthen training for frontline professionals, and support underserved communities across the country.
Officials say the partnership will focus on building local capacity by training key service providers, including nurses, social workers, academic counselors, community leaders, and correctional officers, groups considered critical to addressing Liberia’s growing mental health needs.
